Need advice about company Power Line Engineering - Qatar (PLQ)
Hi, My Company has signed to subcontract very important projects with Power Line Engineering - Qatar (PLQ) in Bin Mahmood area, through a contact.
But recently I have received some bad comments about this company, like they have bankrupted and able to even pay wages for the staffs.
If anyone knows about this issue, please enlighten me.
Thank you....
I would like to confirm I know several sobcontractors that have had their performance bonds and guarantee cheques cashed in by the company PLEQ because they had no cash, this is a huge warning sign.
We have read your concerns and completely understand your position. Our company has been through particularly challenging times in the recent period stemming from a major un-settled account, which has inevitably affected our cashflow. We sincerely acknowledge the burden that this has created for a number of our suppliers and subcontractors, as well as our own staff.
Rest assured that we have not quit taking every action possible to remedy the situation and are indeed making a steady recovery which shall reflect soon in the next few weeks in terms of payments. If you have an outstanding payment with us, we welcome you to come and speak with our Finance & Accounts dept. to arrange for a settlement. In good faith, we acknowledge your current concerns and look forward to further collaboration.
Thank you.
PLQ
know less yet earns more because of his connection.
you will be working side by side by someone who work less, kno
I couldn't get information quickly as i wanted, until then I need some response from internet. If it is someone from the company who is replying this, I would not wanted to continue as I don't wanted to be fooled...I wanted real comments from people got involved previously
This seems to be the business of the company. When the project is awarded to them, they will have to subcontract the job at a lower price surely. No difference from an agent who has sub agents to market the product.
Problem is, some people from PLQ still put their noses on the subcontractor, meaning, they will pressure the sub contractor to accept their recommendees for the job and working in this kind of environment could be very tough sometimes.
LaFerrari: Whilst I appreciate that you want to know, the fact is that we could easily give you false information. What would you do then ?
That was not my part, but since it was referred to us by an important client we had to agree. But now I’m involved so I have to know about this precisely before taking some decisions. Would appreciate response from anybody know about this for sure.
Shouldn't the due diligence have been carried out prior to signing the contracts ?
