Starting a New Cafe in Qatar

Hi,

I've been Doha for around 3 years now.

Currently working as Project Lead at an IT Firm. However, entrepreneurship is a long time goal of mine and I would love to start a new coffee shop here.

Would be grateful if you could help me with the formalities and challenges involved and let me know if this is a good idea. . .

1. Competition is high

2. Shop rents are very high

3. People like to go to the international coffee chain houses

4. Staffing issues are also difficult to manage

5. Loss to exceed half million in two years

Instead, investing in low value Qatari shares is a far better option e.g. Vodafone.
