Winter Solstice brings more cold this weekend

The Winter Solstice - an astronomical event that occurs when the sun is at the furthest angle from the edge of the equator - will cause cold weather from Friday, with temperatures as low as 11 degrees, the Qatar Met Office reports.
The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of blowing dust due to strong wind at times.
The maximum temperatures expected will be between 18-21 degrees, and the minimum will be between 14-11 degrees, with even lower temperatures outside of Doha.
Also, rain is expected from Sunday evening until the end of the week, with a higher probability on Monday and Tuesday.
Our advice is as follows: stay home this weekend, keep warm under the covers and have lots of popcorn and karak!
That is warm spring like weather where I live. It is -3 celcius right now. What is March usually like in Doha? I am hoping to visit then.
