I met with a car accident 2 days back. Fault is from other driver (His took reverse from the pocket parking area without checking the road and hit my cars door side). Instantly I called the police and I explained the incident. I took photos with the plate number. Police asked us to go to the Muroor Station. Other guy also agreed to go to police station and half way he escaped. After reaching Police station, called him many times but did not respond. I reported the whole incident to police and police offer asked me come after two days. I kept on trying to contact other guy but he is not responding to my calls and seems like no intention to go to police. Today I checked his plate number in MOI site and found that his road permit expired two months back and not renewed till date. I am totally confused as to what will happen. Does anyone experience similar situation and what can I expect from the police. Appreciate your valuable comments and advise.
Since the matter is in the hands of the police, you have nothing to worry about. You can get back to them and advise them the other party is not coming to the police. Neither is he accepting your calls. They will take steps to solve the matter.
