Hello everyone! Actually, i've reviewed a great deal of posts here ...but still need your though about my situation. Recently i've got an offer letter from QA. They mentioned basic salary at range of QAR 3190 + accommodation+transportation. Considering the fact that the life here in Doha is quite expensive will it be enough for me to live normal life? how much should i expect to spend on food per month? what's the minimum i will  be able to save from that 3190 excluding expences on food, int, and going out from time to time (not clubs but museums and just walking along kornish or smth like that) i am single girl, with modest lifestyle. Would like to hear various points on this issue

QA are offering good accommodation. For transportation it is only for work. If you want to go out you should take a Taxi.

About 3190QR, I don't know, it depends on how you are living. If you like shopping, going out, and other activities it will be hard to save more than 500QR.

Otherwise, working for QA is a very good experience.

Hi I have been staying in Doha for quite some time and I understand that if you have a decent life style you can actually save in Doha .... And yes companies here provide accomodation which is duly equipped with all required things like ac, tv, refrigerator, washing machine etc and everything is included which means tha you do not have to pay for any thing (eg :-electricity ), they also provide a weekly cleaning service but that depends from company to company.... What sector or industry do u belong to? Anyways best of luck and if you need any more info let me know or mail me at [email protected]

if company is providing you accommodation & transport then you have only food expenses .. so may be around not more than QR 1500 will be your food expenses if you eat 3 times in restaurant and rest you can savings. if your job is related to your education profession then accept it for experience. first check about company standards not salary.

not Asian ... i am from Ukraine ... so supposedly about QR 1100 will be for my outgoings ...the other part around QR 2100 could be turned into savings ...that is about USD 550 or EUR 405 ... could you tell me if it's worth going there to gain international experience or i shouldn't even try?

I am assuming you are an Asian. You will be spending around QR 600 for your food if you do the cooking yourself. Add another QR 500 for your miscellaneous expenses. The rest could be your savings.
