One of my favorite places to take new comers to Qatar. No, it isn't particularly clean (what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger?) but I've never gotten sick eating there, and I think they have the very best shish taouk in all of Doha. After Turkey Central, all other shish taouks taste dry and bland. We love their salads, and have become addicted to the vegetarian moussaka and chili salads. We like their lunch specials, especially the moussaka and various other dishes - we just point, we don't know all the names. Best of all - the bread, freshly baked, with toasted sesame seeds on it. You have to eat it fresh out of the oven, half an hour later it is hard, but oh, when it is fresh, it is sheer heaven. It doesn't take that many visits to become known, and then the service is personable and helpful.
