Visa requirement
Hi,
I am in Qatar from past two weeks joined a company on a project andnow I get to know that project would last only for 6 months, though company is ready to give NOC to any other company which I would like to join.Can any one please do let me know if it is legally allowed to join a new company after 6 months if not what are the other options.

Hi.. Your visa /RP will required minimum one year for transfer. You can join in another company and work with same Visa/RP for another 6 months with NOC / approval from labour dept. new Company PRO can do this formalities for you.
To transfer to another company while in Qatar is impossible but you can get out of Qatar with NOC and return under your new employer's visa.

No it is not legal, you need to wait one year before you change sponsorship. However, you can join another company on loan till you finish your first year.
