Medical Examination
I need your advice, im just a new OFW, My job here is also a site nurse. I had my medical examination last dec. 24 2012, but until now i havent received the result yet.. I asked our head office and they told me that lahat ng mga kasabay ko na labor employee during the medical already had the result,,sakin nlng ung PENDING? Is there anything to worry about it? or i still need to wait for another days since ako lng ung ngiisang medical practitioner na ng medical sa mga kasabay ko?
Just FYI, i was diagnosed with Pleural thickening in the philippines on my first medical exam but i did my second opionion to other GAMCA clinic and they issued me as fit to work...
So im just worried na nakita nila dito ung pleural thickening in my lungs...is there's a chance na pauwiin nila ko if ever they see that thickening?
I will wait for your advice apple,,kinakabahan kasi ko since its my first time and i dont want to disappoint myself and those people who are the reason y im here...

they will inform you if additional xray will be taken.they usually take one position for the chest xray, sometimes if the radiologist has a doubt on the chest xray, that is the time when they will inform you thru sms that you need to report back to medical commission, this time, they will take another xray examination. maybe 2 or 3 xray will be done then after that you have to wait for another 2-3 days, the medical result will be release. you can check every now and then thru the medical commission website so that you will know that the medical result is done.

ei one more thing,, i actually read some of the forums here,, and some of them was undergone xray on different position,,what happen to me was i only have one shot then they reviewed the monitor and they said im done,, but suddenly they stopped me and was told to wait.. they called someone and asked something in Arabic to the person on the other line....then they gave my Medical exam id number, i think to verify something...then after the call.. i asked if there's any problem...and she told me that NO PROBLEM, I CAN GO NOW....,
i dunno if it is positive or not?..since i dunno know what they talked about during the call..

you have to wait until sunday or monday because medical commission does not have work on friday and saturday. maybe by that time your medical result will be released. medical result usually finished within 3-5 days. usually it take a long day if there is suspicious with your result or depend on the volume of patient during that time. in case there is a suspicious on your xray, medical commission will call inform you thru sms that there is additional xray to be done in order to confirm that you are really fit. be patient and wait until sunday or monday.
