Resignation

In my contract they told that i have to do only 208 hours per month its means 6 days in a week and 8 hours per day. but they are utilizing me more than this. some time i use to do 12 to 13 hrs and they are not providing any overtime. they are giving some incentives and in that also they cutting half of the incentives. I want to go back from here. I am really helpless give me effective suggestions please...

I am sure you mean 'Accept' when you wrote 'Expect'.

it depends on company !!

1.some companies in Qatar are not expect resign letter only!!!

2.some will expect it after 1 month of running to manger to manger.

3. some expect resign letter and not give the knowledge , if u go ask HR they will say it is with dept.head...from months

4. some companies will expect it but not leave u for 2-3 or 4 months may long than that.

5.some will expect it and leave u but not pay the due salaries.

6.there are some good company one who follow the rule of law ,expect resign letter and leave you with in 1 month with all salary and benefits.

so u check u belongs to which company as mentioned above.

Best answer is to give formal resignation letter and wait for the notice period as stated on you contract (usually one month).

If your employer is from diffrent planet then apply for an emergency leave and go back if you don't want to return or resign and wait for notice period completion.

1, Resign, get the final settlement and fly home ..

employeee or employer may terminate their cont. any time they like.

Hope you did not sign any documents which may delay your departure etc ..

if you dont want to comeback in any GCC country, just apply vacation & go home.

No worries. Just resign officially and go home after u finish the notice period. It is not mandatory that you must complete ur contract..however if they have mentioned any special clause about compensation on breach then u have to adhere to that.
