Work visa cancellation

Hi,

If my current employer cancels my work visa, will my bank account be affected by this? As in, would my bank account become inaccessible or closed? I ask this because I maybe back in Qatar (in a few months) with a new employer and I would like to use the same account. Thanks in advance!

this is based upon how you opened teh account? Did you get a letter from present employer to open a bank account? in that case, if the HR is clever, he will ask to obtain a clearance letter from bank, kahrama, qtel before giving you final settlement. In that case, they will advise the bank to close the account also. otherwise it will continue.

Also Tahsnimim, In order for the Employer to cancel his visa the Employer has to declare to anyone having any outstanding with the Employee to write to them within 7 days, this notice is normally served in the Paper after which the RP is cancelled!

Tahs the norm is that as soon as they stop playing salary into your account the bank will check this with the employer and some times the Employer also sends letter to the concerned bank to say that the Employee does not work for them.

At the the End of the Day your Sponsor is responsible for the guarantee to the bank especially if you have loans.

Now if Arab bank did not do that doesn't mean other banks wont.

Yes if your salary is paid into that account then it would get cancelled!
