Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Nokia Lumia 900. While I am able to connect to the internet when wi-fi is available, I am not able to do so via internet offered by qtel (I am have a qtel sim card). I called qtel and they gave me a number where I needed to send an sms in order to get the settings to be able to connect to the internet. The message I got back from qtel says: Sorry, your phone is not capable of accepting settings at this time." Is anyone using Nokia lummia here in Qatar? If so, could you please let me know what I need to do in order to be able to connect to the internet via qtel?
thank you

Manually add a mobile data access point

1 Select mobile network > add APN.

2 Write the APN address in the APN field.

the rest is not applicable for Qtel.

3 Type in the username and password for your mobile data account.

4 If the APN uses a proxy server, write the address and port number in the

appropriate fields.

Usually qtel is supposed to send you the setting. Call 111 and ask them to send the internet settings as SMS.

again try with 121..

Else try the following.

add gprs.qtel to the packet data access point(APN setting). This menu might be in the setting.

press -> internet packs tab in the website. though your mobile is not mentioned there, you can get an idea of the configuration from there.
