My 19 year old son is coming over for the holiday. Will he need exit permit when he goes out of Qatar after 3 weeks. Please advise QLers. Thanks!

actually this rule came recently into action and it is applicable only for males above 18 who are under family visit visa.

e.g. if u bring ur father & mother in family visit (6 month) u need to make exit for father only. similarly if ur need to do exit for ur son but not to ur wife

If your son is in Visit visa and below one month staying in Qatar not required Exit permit but if more than one month should be required exit permit .

Thanks Osama. One more question, is it applicable only to family visit visa or also for family members with RP? My boss is living for vacation along with his wife and children, their first time to get out of Qatar since they just moved here early this year. But our mandoob keeps on saying that the wife will not need exit permit and so with my son who is under visit visa. This is confusing us as I've read many times here that exit permit is needed for family members who are 18 years old and above.
