Resident Visa

By nikhiljchheda •
My wife's resident permit is expiring on 28th June 13. She has gone back home on 1st Dec and will only be returning back on 15th June, but while speaking to my fellow collegues, they said that if you have a RP and if you stay out of the county for more than a period of 6months, then your visa will expire.
Is it so? Does anyone have any ideas what the rules are.
Please share.
Thanks guys for the info. I will apply for her return visa.
Apply a return visa in immigration office which cost QR500 and it will be extend for another 6 months. Just remember return visa can only be applied once a year. Goodluck
If it is really required to stay more than six month then you can apply her Return Visa two weeks before she comes in Qatar . Make sure that her visa should be valid till that period . You can do this by paying return Visa Fee Qrls.500/- and can be obtained from Airport Immigration . Remember you can only apply after passing Six month ....
