the salary for a mechanical engineer

Hi!
I am Cristian from Romania-Europe and i have a question for you. i received an offer for a job in fabrication as a mechanical engineer in Doha. my experience is 5 and a half years as mechanical engineer-welding (i've participated in many refinery projects, offshore platforms ...) in Romania.
the company's offer is 2200 USD/month + accomodation + flights.
is this a fare offer ???
can anyone help me to get a job. i am also a mechanical engineer,now i am in Qatar,if anyone see these message plz contact me and help to get a job.i completed my engineering on last year after 7 months i have experience in automobile field.

i have allready accepted. now they are processing the visa and i will posible leave in the first half of january.
i know that is not a great deal but it is a start for me (i don't have experience abroad)

Ask for 10.000 QR and accommodation allowance.
in general the indian and philipino food is good to eat for us westeren guys,. mainly rice with meat and vegetabels
the acommodation is at the site (80 km from Doha) and is a single room with bathroom in a "porta cabin"
the food also they said it is provided by the employer, indian and philipino menu... can anyone tell me how is this food ??
and how much for accomodation/transport. you want to know the complete number, if you want to do a proper cost analyse,. like if you get 1000 for acc. you have a bedshare,. for 2000 mayby a 1 bedroom, or the company overs acc. in that case ask for pictures to see how it looks like
they offered 2200 USD beside accomodation, transport, medical insurance and 1 round trip flying tickets/year
today i received their job offer.
it's 8066 QR (2200 USD) like i expected.
they're waiting for my answer
For sponsoring family 10000 QAR monthly salary is needed as per Qatar laws.
i have spoked with the general manager on the phone and he told me that i will receive a call from the HR tommorow to discuss all the details
If you are Engineer, Don't come less than 15000 QAR and 4000 usd.
Before you accept offer, confirm about your family status and Issue visa Designation.
Its small with 5 years experience. ask for atleast 3500-5000USD with medical+ accommodation + Transport from Office to Home

For experience and certified welder, 22oousd is a little bit low...negotiate for at 5kusd...+++++ accomodation, transpo and 1 round trip ticket to and from origin...good luck...
