Subscription rejected due to nationality?
Hello,
After loosing hope in my son's subscription in the Frensh school , i have contacted the Lebanese schools to subscribe him since the program is quite interesting, i just received the answer, because my son is not lebanease , he is not accepted at the school.
is nationality an "accepted" criteria for rejecting students in QATAR?
thank you in advance,
Anouar
hello,
Thank you for your feedbacks.
@bernardmaalouf : I absolutely don't take it personaly but was wondering whether it's normal to reject the subscription, they are not even talking about waiting list.
@UkengQatar : well the other schools put a low priority for other nationalities (frensh schools) and don't reject them.
It a community school catering for most of their nationals same applies to other community school in Doha!
Lebanese school is an embassy/government related educational institute,
it is fully loaded with Lebanese student (more than 30 kids/class), even they (Lebanese) are suffering to enter their kids in there but the school cannot reject them,
the nationality is a criteria for them but don’t take it personally as off course the Lebanese should have the priority & as I said above, it is fully loaded,
the management is trying to expand each year but the number of kids is growing faster!!!
hello,
Thank you for your feedback, ok i see now.
In fact i did decided to fly to Doha to have a face to face meeting with them and with the other schools.
Thanks again!
Cheers
Anouar
Well, for a fact that it is not an International School but an exclusive Lebanese School, then yes, they have to consider the nationality. If your son can cope up with the medium of teaching, then why not make an appeal to them.
