IS THIS CHEATING SEEK ADVISE
As per classified advt published in QL I send an enquiry about the samsung s3 mobile phone through email (I tried the tel no. Mentioned in the subject advt but it is dead telephone).
Very soon I received the message that they offer qr 1000 (one thousand) only for the samsung s3 mobile.
Last one week I checked whole doha market and found that the least price here in local market is /-a-t-/ 1950 qr.
My question is this much of cheap price how they are selling? Is any online cheating behind this.
If some uneducated people, they can cheat but how they will cheat like me a conjoose man hi hi ????
Is any other QL members have same exp plese share it.
[Mods Note: since you are raising awareness next time BE AWARE of the caps lock]
Well, I think we must report such spam messages to the same site where each message was found on.
Another example about spam messages, as some one could offer you to make a business or some investment with.
Although, there is the fake lottery winners of collected e-mail messages. And even after you accept their conditions of some money to be paid to them as charges to trasnfer the lottery prize money to you!. Also, they could give you a link to some very known bank with a web site almost perfect as original web site of that bank, yet you will never get your money, and they will keep asking for more money little by little by other different people to contact you to keep you within their circle of stealing your money!. Even after accedpting all of that, you are still not going to get any money.
Finally, a person could offer you to trasnfer a big a mount in millions to your account, with a percentage of the whol amount to be paid to you.
Really, the more we live the more we see strange things.
Best wishes

A lot of good advice here. Another is look to the left of the letter 'A'... A button called Caps Lock (unless on a Mac then an arrow pointing upwards with a small rectangle underneath). Your welcome.
I still find people falling for those stories, specially if they are good kind hearted or they've never been through such situations before,so i suggest we try to track those emails, and escalate with authorities, but my question is, who should we really be addressing?
WOW!, so they started a new thing to ask for help from good and kind heart people, by a fake story such a single mother with a kid!. They really gone too far with their imagination..!.
Mr. REDAN you are correct. Just like one mail received today morning in my mail box. It is a lesson for others also. The received email today by me is as follows:
Hello,
My name is Lena, I write you in a small town from Russia. I live with my little daughter without husband, because he left us.
Since the crisis I lost my job and unable pay the heating bills for our flat.
We urgently need heating, winter comes and the temperature is very cold in our sleeping room.
The only way to heat the home, which is a portable woodburner which work with fire and wood.
But we can't buy it in our local shop because it too expensive -equivalent 290 US dollar, and we cannot afford.
I find your email at web-site and decided to write you this desperate letter from local library.
If you have an old portable woodburner from cast-iron, and stop use it more, I pray
it gift for us and save us.
I pray you answer and I give your our home adress.
Elena.
IT IS NOT THE MATTER OF GREEDY JUST SEEK ADVISE AND SHARE THE BAD EXPERIENCE WITH OTHER QL MEMBERS OF ALSO.
Peace be upon you, and how do you do?.
Regarding to your topic, I want to say that we should expect everything now a days, and must not fall for any scam thing of any kind.
However, I used and still getting strange e-mails from different addresses and with different topics and subjects, and all of it is another way either for begging or stealing your money. Also, I have no idea how did these people get my E-mail, but it's sure they know how to get it.
Nevetheless, you could get a request for a friendship in a message, then later it may turn into a begging or an invitaton to some sex site! o.O" .
Although, these people have developed their means to reach people everywhere, even on a simple chat site.
Finally, my advice is not to accept any kind of strange contacts, and it's better to check it with friends or parents then report about it.
Take care and may God bless you.
Best wishes

AND MY REPLY TO HIS OFFER IS AS FOLLOWS :
Dear Hammid
Thanks for your reply.
I would like to order 1 no Galaxy S3 at below amount.
The problem is i dont want to become any cheating by your side honestly. First you deliver the item and after receiving only I am ready to pay the below amount.
Other wise sorry I dont want to do any buisness dealing with you.
If you ok for the above please send me the Telepone to the below address.
If it's too cheap or they are only communicating via email, then it is a scam..
Only greedy people are victims of such scams.
In My opinion most of the people who fall on such online scam are either Over smart or Kanjoos.
Cos even duff people are aware of such scam these days :)
If there is no telephone number forget about it. It is surely a scam.
If an offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Dude..you are conjoose man (as you'ved said) so i will not wonder why you're trying to find the cheapest S3 by any means..then here you are, you found it! But in doubt of the price given which is very-very low.
Being conjoose sumtimes will made you spend more money than expected..:}
If it seems to good to be true, it probably is too good to be true
cant agree more with @khanan.
don't rely on some cheap offers here at QL.
even some cars and web services here are scam.
and don't fall for it. It is written on the classified page too.
