Wonder how many black people percentage wise voted for Obama simply because he was black vs how many white people voted for Romney simply because he was white?

at super cool said "I personally know ppl who voted for Romney"

So you mean that you were referring to all the NON-American "crazy" people voting in the U.S. election? Only Americans can vote in the election. LOL.

And no, I don't think it is crazy that people vote according to their religious conscience in an election. That's their choice in a democracy, and one of the benefits of "functioning" democracy. I'd much rather see people vote than form an armed band outside the law and kill their neighbors over it.

As for you added point about

"IT is scary EVERYWHERE, US, Africa or anywhere else on earth it's scary and it will be scary....that's why i said IT and that's why I said PPL NOT AMERICANS."

That was my original point--religion affects people's politics worldwide. I'm glad you finally agree with me; it's pretty obvious point, and that's why I found your response of calling me a bigot for making it so odd.

By Super Cool• 11 Nov 2012 10:39
Super Cool

Like I said I know u agree, but ur reasons r absolutely chauvinistic and have nothing to do with why I made my statement...u made it sound like I was trying to put down my own ppl which was never the case and then u misquoted me and tried to make it like I was insulting ppl I grew up and r like family to me

of course I'm not gonna let that slide!!!

By Bachus• 11 Nov 2012 10:32
Bachus

LOL. Is right. This is pointless. We actually agree on most of this (and the other arguments we are having), but the giant chip on his shoulder is preventing him from seeing it. Oh well. Time to look at the sports page.

When did I say anything about "Americans" I said ppl didn't I? and when did I call ANYONE crazy? ur misquoting me then jumping on my back about it dude!!! let me repost just in case u missed it the first time

/-a-t-/ britexpat

What's scary for me is that I personally know ppl who voted for Romney simply cuz they believe if they voted for Obama they would go to Hell!!!!

and Yes (((IT))) IS scary isn't it??....It is not a person!!! IT is scary EVERYWHERE, US, Africa or anywhere else on earth it's scary and it will be scary....that's why i said IT and that's why I said PPL NOT AMERICANS.

In this case it's scary that ppl WERE in fact influenced that way....Now that statement was never made in the middle east or in any Arab country election....but when it does happen I'll be the first to speak against it....It hasn't happened yet and I truly doubt that statement will be made here.

By Bachus• 11 Nov 2012 10:23
Bachus

You're hysterical in how you respond to anyone who disagrees with. My comment is that religion matters to people in the Middle East and would affect their voting patterns in response to your comment about some "crazy" Americans who vote according to their religious beliefs.

Are you actually denying this? Or are you going to write another non-sensical rant about how great you are and how I must be some sort of racist bigot because I disagree with your generalized, insulting statements?

The fact that you have to resort to the classic "don't you know who I am" retort, means that you have already lost the argument. Good for you if you are working to make a better future for your country, but it still doesn't make you win the argument here.

By Super Cool• 11 Nov 2012 10:09
Super Cool

Oh and if u wanna stereotype than we all can too Mr. non-racist from a country known to be full of racists. Stereotyping is nothing but a lazy attempt at not thinking hard enough

By Super Cool• 11 Nov 2012 10:06
Super Cool

once again u go on assuming that I’m insignificant....Not knowing how major my part has been in the development of Qatar....its funny how u praise some of “MY WORK” then criticize my intellect which helped make my work worth praising in the first place!!!especially by someone who sees us as a bunch of backward ppl

I never said u were racist by the way....I can’t anyway cuz we come in all races too....but u sure r a bigot, u know it, u just don’t own up to it!!!

Do us all a favor….get off that mighty horse of urs and remember that ur talking about humans….same blood, same organs, same bodily functions….ur no better than any of us

By Bachus• 11 Nov 2012 09:59
Bachus

ROFL at Super Cool. Wow, another racist and hypocrisy filled rant from the guy who lacks perspective and critical thinking skills. You really make me laugh with your immaturity and false accusations. NONE of what you wrote applies to my post.

My point is that religion affects the politics of many people around the world. Are you suggesting that religion does not matter to people in this region or affect their politics? What an insult you have made to the Godly people of the Middle East, whether they be Muslim, Christian, Jew, or Zoroastrian.

Is that really the best you can do?--call someone a bunch of names and misrepresent their statements in hopes winning some sort of argument? You should consider joining the Romney campaign as a fact checker.

@ Bachus

What the F do Arabs got to do with this topic??? Why do we have to be lumped into every topic u discus....do we really bother u that bad!!! Don't u realize that there were MANYYYYY Arabs who voted in these elections...do u know that they voted for both candidates??? Don’t insult our intelligence dude!!!

And why r Arabs classified as religious ppl who decide everything thru religion if they live everywhere and in every country on earth and happen to vote in many elections??? Better yet since when are Arabs lumped up into a single religion??? Don’t u know we come in many religions??? If ur talking about Islam and truly suspect u r....it for one calls for fair and public election to every leading position which is not being followed today so if religion somehow becomes a factor then elections r eminent and two Islam is not subject to change or mutation where by they can invent a new crime then sentence the committers to hell or heaven cuz simply we r not granted that power

Buddy ur bigotry shines through big time!!!! Give it a break already

@ britexpat

If Republicans r losing among women, blacks, Latinos, other minority groups and among young ppl as stats r showing....does that sound like they don't understand or maybe don't care what the MAJORITY of ppl want???

This is the second presidential election in a raw with a HUGE margin win!!!! 332 vs 203...someone is disconnected from the society and dealing ONLY with the elites!!!

By Bachus• 11 Nov 2012 09:41
Bachus

at Justarrived--absolutely. Lots of religion in American politics, even some radical stuff.

My point is religion and politics are hugely mixed up in this part of the world, too, and it's hypocrisy for someone in this part of the world to call it "crazy" given the region's own record.

Its actually true. Mike Huckabee, a previous presidential candidate, has warned that voting for Obama will send you to hell.

"What's scary for me is that I personally know ppl who voted for Romney simply cuz they believe if they voted for Obama they would go to Hell!!!!""

And if Arabs suddenly found their countries were democracies, how would religion figure into their voting patterns? Get some perspective. LOL.

By Bachus• 11 Nov 2012 09:22

I agree, but the difference of voting pattern by age is quite remarkable. It shows that traditional republican positions on "moral" issues are out of touch with people under 35. Demographics (age, race, etc.) are working against the republicans.

My sense is that the Latino community, like the other immigrant groups before it, isn't as coherent in voting as the presidential election suggests. Plenty of Hispanics are staunch conservatives and run successfully as Republicans, garnering a large slice of the Latino vote.

By britexpat• 11 Nov 2012 09:16
britexpat

This election has not been so much about Obama and Romney, but the ideals of the parties themselves. The Democrats have appealed to a wider demographic due to their policies of inclusion and perhaps liberalism especially where the issues of pro-choice,gays and minorities.

interestingly, Democrats lost the white vote by a whopping 20 points , but won through because of the vote from Hispanics, Blacks and other minorities.

The US racial demographics are changing and teh republicans need to realise that.

If only blacks voted for Obama, then he would not have one. The biggest disparities in voting patterns are by age--youth for Obama, old for Romney.

NEVER elect an elitist or ur doomed!!!!

Reminds me of when the latest hurricane hit Louisiana this past summer and Romney was there. A lady approached him while on TV and said sir I'm ur biggest fan AND I PLAN ON VOTING FOR U IN November, I’ve always been a Repubican supporter!!! Sir I lost everything, my house, my car, the phone and everything that I own in this life except the clothes on my back. He asked for her name then he said ma'am I feel for u, I will make sure that u get all the help that u need and that ur case is considered a priority. I urge u now to go back home, stay home and plz call the help line, they will be waiting for ur call and I will see to it that u get everything that u need.

Obviously the lady was stunned....she just told the dude that she lost everything, house, car, phone, tv, everything, but the guy is sooooo filthy rich he cannot fathom ppl having so little

STAY AWAY FROM ELITISTS!!!!
