The Military district ,especially the Army and Navy will be very rewarding if you are in a technical job and do work hard.

So yes I guess 10,000 is a good basic salary.

So if you work hard in a technical job (especially electrical), you will eventually be very well rewarded.

Hello Mr. Khan. I am not familiar with the allowances they provide for military forces. Anyhow, you will be able to survive with this salary as you can rent form 3500 to 4400 an apartment and live with the rest. From my experience in such type of shared accommodation you don't have to pay electricity and water bills which will save you around 400 to 500 QAR. You can own a vehicle easily here either used or new. For daily living details, please check the link below. I hope this assists you in making a decision on your move.

Welcome to the force brother. You're such a lucky guy. Is 10k your basic salary? Are you a civilian employee or military? If you're a military after the training you will get military allowance plus your technical allowance. And your family allowance.
