High speed internet in West Bay

Hello, eveybody!
We are house hunting in West Bay area but some collegues told to my hustand to be carefull as there is no high speed internet in West Bay.
Is it true? Are there some zones in West Bay not covered by the optic cable?
What else should we pay attention to?

actually it is not random, Qtel are trying to install fiber optic all throughout Qatar, starting from Doha and arriving in Al Wakra in 2013.

I am a lucky one! I got a phone call from Qtel informing me that they will be installing the Fiber Optic in my house and I am the first one in my area to get one. The Fiber Optic was installed last week and my house is near West Bay. By the way, I just moved in to this house 3 months ago and I didn´t even apply for Fiber Optic. It looks like its random.

Internet in qatar is same whether u live in west bay or east bay or south bay.. and if ur hubby's friends are talking abt that fiber optic so plzz keep quite & stand in a queue as whole Qatar is in queue for that and Qtel is sleeping...
