Man arrested for turning up at Dubai Mall in underwear
An Emirati man was arrested on Sunday after he turned up at Dubai Mall wearing only his white cotton underwear.
He was with four friends, who were dressed in traditional clothing worn mostly indoors or for bed.
The men were nabbed on an escalator in the early hours of the third day of Eid, by Dubai Police officers patrolling the Mall, police officials told Gulf News.
Lt Colonel Ahmad Humaid Al Merri, director of the Criminal Investigation Department at Dubai Police, said on Monday that an Emirati man who works for a government department, was arrested for showing his underwear in public.

He was robbed of his clothes inside the same mall & he was going to notify the Mall Manager about it ..
but this 3 types of clothes i-e underwear, lungi & pajama (these guys wear in the pic) is there traditional clothes not thobs...
Dubai Mall is so huge that you can put all the shopping malls in Doha inside it and still have plenty of space for parking.

The funny thing is a lot of the shops in the Dubai Mall are allowing their staff to wear pajamas to work because of the 24 hour shopping. Guess these guys thought they could to!

Some of the women frequenting the mall Are wearing less than these guys....what's the big deal....I think it's hilarious, wish I could have been there....

looks like they were in the right clothes for that time of the day and it must have been early morning when all of the families and the kids are asleep in bed
