How many here are in favor of the Ministry of Interior's Traffic Department to field 'undercover agents' to monitor and apprehend erring taxi drivers in Doha?
The system is already enforced in Dubai (http://www.emirates247.com/news/undercover-agents-being-used-to-monitor-...)
Every day, how many helpless passengers fall prey to rude and arrogant karwa drivers? And are the police in Doha doing something?

Ppl speak from various directions.... I mean, everyone has a different experience to share, no matter with taxi driver, or what else... so the orignal poster, do what you feel, is the best suggestion is from my side. Good luck!
Infact they are great - always use them for the airport and for late night parties when I cannot drive back home. Always on time.

9 out of 10 of them are straight. it's the 1 per cent bad eggs that are spoils the entire basket.
Good idea. Never personally had a problem with taxis. Always go by the meter and pay the amount. Treat them well and they will be courteous - in the majority
