I'm going to try once again and see if this works.
Last time was a bit of a let down!!
I really would like to make friends with people who have been in Doha for a while. Want to get to know the place and also would really like it if i could feel as though this is my home. Considering I may be here for atleast 2 years (which can be a very long time if your unhappy).
Anyway genuine people please get in touch and no comediens please!!!

Was in the same boat myself a few years back.AlHamdulillah, thanks to QL I actually managed to meet so many lovely people, and have made so many friends. So my advice to you is stick around here. Just keep posting so people too would be familiar with you.
If you find someone who's online personality you find interesting, just go ahead and shoot em a PM. That's a great way of making acquaintances and Insha Allah friends.

Just hang in there. the best is start hanging with your colleagues and from there your circle will increase.
