My wife is in qatar on family visit visa. we gone for medical test and extended visit visa for 5 more months which will expire in December. My question is, if we got permanent visa do i need to go for medical test again? please answer me
Thanks in advance
ilikeQL once u get the sms go directly to immigration n give them passport n visa copy no need to show any sms and no document will be given by the medical, everything is automatic.
Sweetums, ur husband needs 6 months bank statement to apply for the RP along with other papers, for more information visit:

Yes i am in the process of trying to get a family visa, as my husband works here and has a RP. Have been here for 6 weeks! Do i just get another extension for 30 days then apply, how does this all work, please help?
Thank you dear emy007 for information. Will SMS is proof or medical commission gives any document for submitting to Immigration?
if u got her family visa before she complet 90 days in qatar under visit visa then she needs only to visit medical to convert it from visit to family visa and if she complet 90 days then she will have to make the medical from beginning.
IlikeQL, for visa extention once ure wife comes to qatar and before she complet one month better take her after she spends 1 week here to medical commission she will have to carry passport visa copy and debit or credit card to pay fees (100QR). next day or after 2 days u will receive an sms saying her medical is ok or nt ok, once its ok go to immigration passport with visa and debit or credit card to pay 200 Qr. for each month stay.
bqe - What is the procedure and formalities to extend visit visa ? After arrival, in how many days we need to go for medical? Can you please explain in detail?
You don't need to undergo medical test again if you got work visa or husband visa because if you have a problem in medical test they will not allow you to extend her visa base on my experience.good luck
YES, YOU HAVE TO UNDERGO MEDICAL EXAM AGAIN WHEN YOU GOT THE RESIDENCE VISA.
