Qatar Foundation open to public entry?

I realise this isn't exactly a sightseeing question (assuming that QF isn't a tourist attraction) but I'd like to visit the Qatar Foundation.
I don't know whether its a closed compound or something and I'd need a pass or prior permission to visit, or if it's accessible to everyone(?)

Is there some sort of centralised personnel office there?

Thanks. I might be visiting sometime in the next couple of days.

haha, no they won't check your baggage and stuff, it's not an airport dear. Just provide your ID card.

Good luck with your CVs.

Well, I just want to visit the various universities and hand in my CV at the relevant departments. I know there's an online portal for applying, but I thought the face-to-face approach might work better in this country.

Yes you can enter through Gate 3 and they will ask for your ID or driving license which you will get back on exiting EC

Its not open for public for visits or sight seeing...

However you can visit universities for admissions inquiries...

Go to QF gate, provide an ID and you will be issued a visitor pass. Follow speed limit carefully inside QF. QF own traffic wardens to monitor speed....

samshaykh, thanks for the reply.

Security measures, as in body and baggage check, stuff like that?

Yes you can go in the education city, granted that you pass all security measures.
