Disabled Parking

Having watched a bit of the Paralympic Games, and having a strange sense of humor, I had a snigger when a couple of images came into my mind. First I imagined cars fighting for three disabled parking spaces outside the stadium, then I imagined thousands of parking spaces with a wheelchair painted on them and just three with a wheelchair with a cross painted through it, and people fighting for those.

Then I thought what the hell do these guys need parking spaces next to the entrance of shops, malls, leisure complexes etc etc for? Look at em go!

Sense of Humor Disclaimer
--------------------------
Bash away ya all, I can take it. If I was suffering from a disability (other than being fat, which I am) I would have still had the same satirical thoughts come to mind. And I hope anyone reading this who is, or knows someone disabled that you will take my sick sense of humor lightly and not be too offended ;)

I was simply blown away by the blind football. I am full of admiration for those guys, and it was seeing that on a screen while eating out (with no sound) that got me interested in watching more of the games. At first I couldn't believe what I was watching.

Funny you should say that..

I was watching the swimming the other day and thinking .. Isn't it unfair for someone with one leg missing to compete against another who only has half an arm...

In racing terms, he doesn't have a leg to stand on :O(
