Soundproofing

In the interests of general information ...... I have just had a bedroom window in our villa soundproofed and having had such a great result I am posting information should anyone else find it useful :)

The window treatment we had done is inside the villa, the original window is still there so we didn't change anything structurally. We had a sound reduction cover put over the window that we can remove when we leave. The sole downside is that there is no natural light in the bedroom but for us this was insignificant compared to the benefit of a quiet bedroom.

We were given great advice by Edwin George of Koru Trading and Contracting. He suggested a plan of action and pointed us in the right direction to get the job done. The whole job was done promptly and very professionally. We couldn't be happier with the result.
