Can my employer has the right to send me back to my country?
I've been locally hire. My initial contract is 2 yrs and I am in my almost 4 yrs. No contract signed and everything for renewals.
I tendered a proper resignation, noticed and endorsement. My resignation was initially approved and documented. Do I have the right to insist for my NOC if they don't want to.
Please I need some opinion and advise.
Thanks, for further info, the reason I was resigned it's because they told me so and just let them now about it.
Just speak to your sponsor in a nice way.... it works sometimes... lol
Do not insist, instead speak with your sponsor humbly, NOC is not an expatriate's right, it is a privilege and it is always upon the discretion of the Employer/Sponsor if he/she is willing to give you one.
Goodluck!
U have the right to insist but ur sponsor have the right to deny also being the "sponsor". Better u go to labour or human rights i heard some cases like this who got NOC but on a case to case basis. I think u have a chance if they cancel u rather than u resign.
If you are locally hired your present co./spoonor has no right to cancel your visa or to reject sponsorship change. Contact Labour Dept. or Human rights if you have any issues. They will help you.
