Please help me regarding HDD

Hello friends
i was using a WD External Hard disk drive for 4 years its about 500GB now its not responding while plugin to the laptop or computer. i have some important data in that. please suggest any place were i can retrive that files back. and please tell we were i can buy a WD 500GB HDD in cheaper prize.

First check the cable. Try another cable with your HDD or try your cable in another HDD and let us know....
