On Arrival Visa with GCC Resident Permit

Hi...I am currently working in Qatar in an IT firm with designation as Projects Manager. I am leaving my current job by end of this month and I have planned to join in one of the IT firm in UAE as a pre-sales consultant. They have provided me the visa with the designation as Sales Consultant. My current company will not give an NOC for me since there is no history of giving NOC by this company for any of their previous employees. Even though I move to UAE, my region will be Qatar and I need to travel to Qatar for 1-2 days duration on a weekly basis. Can anyone tell me whether I will be getting an on-arrival visa in Qatar since I will not have an NOC from the current employer. I checked in MOI for the list of designations who will get on-arrival visa in Qatar and found that all types of consultants are eligible for the same.My confusion is since I will not have an NOC. Kindly share your information.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Alex...Thnx for the answer. My concern is whether I will be getting an on-arrival visa. Since I want to travel to Qatar on a weekly basis, it would not be possible for the new company to arrange the visa every prior to my travel. Also, I may need to travel to Qatar without any prior notice of even one day.

There's no need for an NOC. Your new company in UAE will arrange for your visa entry in Qatar. NOC is only needed if your new employer is also a Qatari company here in Doha. Your qatar work visa will be cancelled by your present company once you leave Doha. You can enter Qatar anytime on visit or business visa.
