good day, how I can get visa in Dubai or UAE.Want to have a vacation w/ my family. My visa here in Doha is resident but my job title is cameraman. I heard those rumors that there are list of professions that is only acceptable upon arrival to get visa. And the only thing I can get visa is I have to make a booking in one of the hotel in Dubai. But the cost of it is too much expensive. Do UAE embassy here gives visa? I need your help or opinion in this matter. Thank you....

As I told u that i would be booking for the emirates holiday package , i did that, the package includes tickets, hotel booking (pick n drop to airport inclusive) and visa. and it cost me 3,700 QR in total. the hotel is also a 4 start hotel.

well u can get visa upon arrival if u have an enigneer/Manager visa. and the other condition for on arrival visa is that u n other persons who might be travelling with u have spent atleast 6 months with a valid RP in qatar.if u don't meet any of the above criteria then don't take the risk and buy the visa from here that would be cheaper coz if they issue emergency visa on ur arrival it would cost u higher. the emirates staff told me it will cost me around 300 i guess from here and in case of emergency visa it would be 500+ . flydubai is also less expensive but i heard ppl might face problems regarding visa so i preferred emirates for hastle free trip. hope this helps to make ur decision.good luck.

Birdee, I've been living here for 2 yrs as resident visa. Do you think I'm eligible for visa upon arrival. But I booked in United airlines w/c is more cheaper than any airlines.

well, tomorrow i m going to visit emirates airlines for the same reason, my husband has talked to them today and they told him that they don't take the responsibility for visa upon arrival, usually u get the visa on arrival if u have an engineer or manager visa and u have spent 6 months with a valid RP in qatar. for us it is a bit less than 6 months so they told us to book hotel and tickets through them and they will arrange the visa for us. will let u know the details after I visit them.
