If your earn more than in your home country, then its ok as living cost is low. Though accommodation can be a little expensive.

Lucky, where did you get that average of QAR40,000 from? Your dreams?:)

If it's just a basic, it's totally fine. I mean, it should be 4000 + Transpo (Atleast 750-1000 + Accomodation 1500-2000)

for us to advise if you should haggle for more and perhaps give you additional info if this company is good to work in. I'm just matter of fact here since some salaries are based on the color of your skin. Look, you're not coming to Hawaii for the sun and surf, if you get my drift.

For a pilipino it'll work

Request for free transportation or allowance. It is not enough but you can survive depending on your lifestyle. Moreover, if it is a small to medium scale company, then that is within range of what is being currently offered in the market for Filipinos. If you can bargain for an increase in the offer then why not:) Good luck!

it's not enough..the cost of living here in qatar is too expensive..i bet you will send money to philippines, so for sure at the end of the day you will say to your self 4000 is not enough..

good luck..

If you get housing and transport it should be fine.

Thanks for the response! That I will have to check with the employer. I thought so. If there are additional allowances for food and transpo, that 4K should be enough, right?

Is the package all inclusive? Like trasportation, food and medical. Food and transpo is not cheap. You will spend about 1500 for a month. Maybe more than that. You will save between 2000-2500 a month. Frankly speaking it is a meagre salary.
