entry visa dilemma

So i have been offered a job in Qatar, signed a contract and they have applied for my work visa. Basically i have decided not to take the job, as i have been offered another one. How long is the entry visa valid for, how long would i have to wait for that to expire? And is there a certain length of time i would have to wait before reapplying for a new visa. My second employer seems to think that after my first visa expires, i can't apply for another visa for 6 m months.

thanks.

If u are coming by visit visa or business visa, is it possible to get work permit card (resident card). U cannot work for an employer without your resident card ...right???

Xpatadventure so you think that the entry visa is 3 months? Do you know if there is a waiting period before i can reapply for another visa?

Teyob@Doha- your suggestion wouldn't work- I f i work for my first employer then i would need an NOC to transfer to the second- which i won't get.

i think u can come to qatar right away by visit or business visa, work with ur new employer for 6 months, then transfer to work visa under ur 2nd employer, that's just in time the ban for visa re-application is lifted

Entry visa valid for 90 days. If you don't want to wait, then it must be cancelled first. Then new company can apply for sponsorship.
