Hi All,

I have been offered a job in Doha in Information Security and Audits. I am from India.I have been offered around 10000 QR and furnished accomodation + air tickets + medical insurance. The company is not negotiating any further. I will be relocating with my wife(who currently works in IT (Information Security and has around 5 years of experience). We have a son (18 months now).

1. Is this salary good enough to move to Doha ?
2. Are there good and affordable nursery schools, so may be my wife can work ? if someone can throw some light on expenses for nursery schools.
3. Would it be easy for my wife to get a job there ?
4. What is general monthly expense? Groceries,Bills etc.
( just to estimate the saving potential)

Thank you very much guys !!

Regards,
Jay

And stay away from malls. You save money, and you won't burn to death.

It depends on your qualification and experience..

Basically 10000 is not a very good salary... its not too low as well..

Indian managed nurseries charge from 600 to 1000/ month.

Living cost depends on your lifestyle..

Will the Company provide you a car? if not you will need around 1800- 2000 for a small size car...

Your wife will get a Job..if she is lucky she will get soon if not it might take some time...

You wont get much to save.. maybe you can

save max 2-3k.

When your wife also start working.. you can save more...and live comfortably.
