My friend need help..
She entered Qatar with employment offer(without contract) stated 6months indefinite period. After 6 months, the company renew her Visit Visa (white sticker on passport)but she was not given with Qatar Resident(QR)ID.
Her questions are:
1. She planning to resign and go home, do she need exit permit?
2. She will be banned if leaving Qatar without notice (due to no contract) and fly home with own air ticket?
3. She was an Planning Engineer and work on site. It is legal for her to work under visit Visa(without QR ID).

Please help, you may answer one of those questions which at your knowledge. Since am also new in Qatar. I need help so that I can clarify to her.

Thanks in advance.

It seems that tinku is right. It should be a business visa and she must have an exit permit. Ban is normally on work visas and not on business or visit visas.

She's on a visit visa in Doha. She doesn't need a exit permit. She can literally buy a ticket, grab her luggage, go to the airport and board her flight back home without resigning or even telling her employer. She is not bound to the company in anyway!! Ofcourse, if she was on that companies sponsorship she would need a exit permit!

And as far as I believe she won't be banned to come back.
