Dual Residence Visa
Hi
Currently I am residing in UAE under husband sponsored residence visa. If I get a job offer from Qatar. Without cancelling my UAE residence visa(husband sponsorship) Can I obtain a Work Permit Residence visa in Qatar. Because once in while I need to travel from UAE to QATAR. Both GCC countries need a valid visa to travel.

Yes you can, my wife had 2 residence permit. Work visa there in abudhabi and family visa here in qatar. There was no problem in both immigration though she travel a lot a.d. - doha - a.d. Here in qatar you need to limit your stay outside the country with in six month with out penalty or 1 year plus 500qr penalty plus permission from the immigration that you will be out of the country. Check with uae immigration if they apply the same rule.
Yes. The rule is that you cannot have two "work" visas at the same time. My son is studying in the UAE, he have a residence visa from the university there, and continue to have Qatar visa under family sponsorship.
