Official day of Mourning

If they haven't already declared today as an Official day of mourning, then they need to. I don't think anyone in the country will be in any shape to work or function properly today.

Lucky86, are you sure there is a mass at the Catholic church today for the lost souls?

according to http://dohanews.co/

A Catholic mass will be held for some of the dead today at the church at 6 pm. That brings the total number of vigils announced so far to three.

There will be one at Aspire near big screen today at 5pm and one at the Pearl at 8pm.

not one Qatari died in this accident. I hate to think it, but was also that why Al Jazeera couldn't be bothered to even send one reporter to cover the biggest story ever in Doha?

I hate to think this kind of things...and I lost sleep over it.

I am grieving for the loss of innocent lives because of people's disregard for safety...

is it all about the MONEY?

This is what i was expecting last night - mourning day. I could not sleep all night, keep thinking about this horrible incident, about poor people who have lost their lives, and about poor parents who have to deal with their lost... I am a mother of two, and just a day ago my kids were there, while i was in the supermarket... i am still in shock and can not think clearly... my heart goes to families of the victims...

But today in the morning QBS radio is playing cheerful music like nothing happened! May be i don't get something? Or they have been told form above not to pay too much attention to this tragedy? I want to bring some flowers and toys to the gate 3, but i am not sure if people are allowed around that area....But really shame on the officials - today must be the day of mourning!
