Install Parking sensor v/s warranty

Installing reverse parking sensor in Honda car from local shop (not Honda service) will void the life time Honda warranty?

Is it true? If yes, doing so, what things in warranty will be no more part of warranty? Will atleast engine be part of warranty?

Please suggest.

Google Honda warranty and after-market parking sensor. It could well void the warranty if it involves the car's computer.

But dear.. In that case th eHonda people will never advise you to go to local vendor to lose their share. If local vendor will do it for Qr 250/-, the Honda (Damasco) will charge at least QR 1000/-.

How about contacting your HONDA local dealer and asking them. That way you could be receiving proper info rather than suggestions and opinions from the forums (which to some extent have proven to be misleading)
