51% of Qatar firms increased headcount in 2011
Qatar salaries increased by 5.6% in 2011, compared with inflation at 1.9%

Saudi Arabia is enjoying the highest rate of job creation in the region and Bahrain the lowest

Inflation in Qatar was only 1.9% in 2011 . . .?!!

jjj - The information cannot be totally wrong. In my company we paid annual increaments,promotions as well as bonus.
I know of no expats who have had a with inflation pay increase, wonder where they got the stats from????
