Help regarding Visa

I need your suggestion regarding my visa. I have UAE (Valid upto 2013 June) & Qatar Visa (2012 Sep) from my previous employer. Though I left UAE last July 2011, i dint cancel my UAE visa. Now I changed my company in Qatar after getting NOC. While i got new RP, my mandup says that they (Immigration Dept) have imposed a fine of QR 2500/- for not cancelling the UAE visa. Is it possible, since my UAE visa expired as i have stayed more than 6 months out of UAE. Any relevant sections of MOI which specify the fine??? Since i have to bear the cost of penalty.

They are charging Qr. 2000 for dual RP and as you did not pay it while getting your RP they might be charging a fine of Qr. 500 on you which makes it Qr. 2500.

The Law states that you cannot have more than one GCC Visa at the same time. Though, I believe that you have to pay the fine this time unfortunately.
