I have just tried calling a text at Karwa for the 4th time, i waited each time more than 8 minutes, how do we expect to have people travel and visit Doha? That is really sad!

The karwa city where the taxi drivers are accommodated is very well maintained and has basketball courts, a big dining hall and a mosque. It is better than any labor accommodation being provided by any company in Qatar.

Secondly the housing is free for the drivers (so you can add 500 QAR at least for the kind of accommodation they are getting) as money saved is money earned.

Lastly I have talked to some taxi drivers on rental of 265 and they have said that they earn 3-4 k per month. Though I agree that the taxi service is not of same level as Dubai, but recently there are 2 companies who have been awarded franchises (one is al million I don't know the name of the other one) by karwa which will increase the number of taxis by another 1000 very soon. So lets hope for the best....

coz the drivers condition is very bad, the salary of a karwa taxi driver is 1200 qar or he have to rent the taxi from the company for 11 hours for 265 !! he cant earn this amount!!! and the bus drivers salary is 1800 qar , they live in bad condition in mowasalay karwa city in abu hammour ,they live 6 in one room(like prison room), they pay for their bad food in the company, wich u can feel them (slaves for the company),

merci pour votre compréhensions

If karwa is this bad now, imagine what they will be like for the 2022 World Cup! They seem to be getting worse and worse. Does karwa hire thieves and deceitful people on purpose? They used to be a decent company. I think that they simply know that they can get away with what ever they want, and there are never any consequences for inappropriate and unethical business practices. Do away with them I say, and bring in a new firm.

Adven, I would be very careful in naming certain nationalities. This is inappropriate behaviour on QL and will probably offend someone, and should be deleted. Please edit .

An i told to put FM Hndi or English they never listens. Thay are not dressed well and cleaniness maintains ESPECIALLY MALAYALEES ARE NNOT BEHAVING IN MANNERS. I dont know I call so many times to complaint nobody takes any interest and action. I am surprised here when the people are needful for good services. WALLAH I AM REALLY SORRY TO SY ABOUT KARWA MALAYALEES DRIVERS SO HARSH.

Karwa Taxi is a useless service, not avaiable when u need it, the attitude of the Driver its worse, I think it is the time for alternate Taxi service in Doha with good numbers of cars in their fleet

Karwa is turning "Kachada" nowadays..Authorities,Time for a clean up or the reputation of the country is tarnished..It is these basic things that matter to the ordinary man and not construction work going on in every inch of Qatar 24/7
