Ok so I have been trying for some time now to get a US prepaid credit card and I ended up here:

Expedient service. I got a VISA prepaid card and I could use it for more than iTunes match subscriptions, I could shop online.

Does anyone know if they are rechargeable or if you have to buy a new one when it runs out?

almost all the banks offer prepaid credit card (internet card) facility. please check with your bank.
