Ok, it seems that there are not so many Italians around in Doha, right?

At least in Aspire area.

It's a pity but at least this will force my wife to quickly learn English !

Entropia, I have different opinions regarding the family life that, if possible, so if somebody has the chance to live with his own family, no matter what climate is the family has to remain unit.

I consider myself lucky to have the chance to take my family with me and to have a wife that, with the many problems she will have to face, still is willing to follow me.

Also in respect to this hard decision of hers I'm trying to provide her the smoothest possible lifestyle change.

Thank you all for the support.

mmhh now I understand your point

Unfortunately I cannot help you because I'm living here alone and I dont have idea about compound living and children schools

anyway .. are you sure that is a good idea to bring here your family? here life is very a tough for italian ppl and expecially woman because here social life is below zero and climate... well the worst ever

for istance my wife and my son come along about twice a years but only for two weeks vacations and this seems to be fine for all

You are right.

So basically the main reason for my research is due to the fact that I am next to move to Doha with my family and I have already confirmed two places for two my daughters at Compass School in Al Rayyan.

We haven't chosen the compound where to live yet but, at the moment, I am considering Y Village; Beverly Hills Al Rayyan; Beverly HIlls 3 and Palm City Gardens.

Since my wife does not speak English at all, I'm trying to see if I can find any Italian in that area because this point could also direct us in choosing a compound instead of another.

Thank you all for the support.
