Such horrible crime and he gets only ten years. Sounds very crazy. I thought that life was a bed of roses in the emirates and things like this are brushed under the carpet until it gets blown up out of control. Its a shame that this could happen out there in the emirates

He or his relatives will offer diya to the victims's family and try to escape even from a death sentence. A relative of mine was shot dead in Saudi last Ramadan by three Nationals for money. They were caught and tried and the one who shot the guy was sentenced to death. They offered big diya money to the wife of my cousin who refused and he will be punished very soon.

AM, 23 an Emirati, was initially charged with sexual and physical assault. He was denied bail after his arrest because Esther's condition was critical.

Prosecutors are waiting for a witness to the attack to return to the country. When her evidence has been recorded and the results of the postmortem examination have been released by the medical examiner, AM will be referred to the Criminal Court of First Instance.

Esther was with two friends in the car park of the hotel when AM harassed one of them by touching her inappropriately. When Esther tried to stop him, he attacked her, prosecutors say.
