Compounds

Hello

Could anybody list some 'compound' names that are relatively close to the French School 'Lycee Bonaparte'.
Then I can search villas in these compounds on the internet.

Would welcome any views / experience on the above compounds ?

Have been trying to find a google map or other map that actually highlights compounds, with no luck.

One last question !
There is a big area called Al Rayyan to the west side of Doha. To give me a rough idea on how bad the traffic is, how long would you setimate the journey from Al Rayyan to international airport area in rush hour ?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi, my names Craig, MD of Mirage Real Estate here in Qatar. There are plenty of compounds to choose from within your price range, some good, some not so good. If you want to get a general idea of what you can get for your money then please take a look at our website mirageproperty.com. If you do a search of, for example, 3-4 bed compound villas in Doha, do not specify a price and it will bring up a selection of compounds, if you change the list of results to map view it will bring up a google map with the various properties pinpointed so you can check location compared with International Airport. Or you can go into individual details and each will have larger view images and individual map locations.

Once you've taken a look, if you require more info then please feel free contact us through the website, we will be only too happy to assist you.

By the way we do not charge residential leasing clients a commission, all our earnings come from the various landlords.

I hope we can be of help.

Kind regards

Craig at Mirage

Hi Again

Well you can go direct to the companies managing the compounds if you can get the contact info for the companies or if you want villas to come to you then you have to ask agents and they will charge commission which is usually half month and you will get the villa .

If you need my help i can find you villas as i am having my own real estate company.

Best of luck

Thanks very much to all, very usefull information.

I think West Bay is a little out of my Budget. Will have a Budget of 15000QAR. Hoping to pay between 12000 - 1300 and keep the rest for bills.

Will start looking in Duhail and Gharaffa.

To get a compound villa do you have to go through estate agents, or can you deal direct with the compound ?

I guess you would actually have to be IN Doha to deal with the compounds ?

There are some great compounds in West Bay and if you need to get to the airport on a regular basis, I'd recommend staying in that area. What's your budget? Al Jazi West Bay (Brilliant facilities) is a great compound, but you're going to be paying 20k+, there are also a few smaller compounds around at 18k. If you don't want to spend that there are some good options in Duhail and Gharaffa.

You will not find a website with compounds and available houses. Try qatarliving, good luck.

Traffic from Al Rayyan to International Airport is pretty bad, it will take you 30-40 minutes. What is much worse is the driving style of the people here.
