Does a person (who was employed here in Qatar have to go home (country of origin) after being given an NOC by the company when he actually came in Qatar with a business visa?

No need to be out of country as on Business visit the sponsor had given NOC to join any new company.As the sponsor has given an opportunity to choose a better offer.Join a new company without going out of Country.
The reason they want him to go out of Qatar is
to cancel his visa/RP and utilize the same visa for another person they'll be hiring in place of him. Even though he was hired locally, if the company wants you out, you couldn't do anything. He can try going to other GCC country provided he obtained tourist/business visa then comeback again in Qatar with a different business/tourist visa, since his having an NOC. Release is out of the question since the visa his holding now will be use by the same company and they don't want to give it away to him and his new sponsor.
