I would like to send some home made fruit cakes to my parents in honour of few Birthdays and Anniversaries coming in March..How can it be done? Does post office do it? Or should I ask Cargo companies?

check with the guys on the following link.

Talk to them about your requirement.

They might help.

when I booked from Abu Dhabi, they had delivered flowers and chocolates to India. They might do it for you.

What kind of fruit cake is that? Is it wrapped per piece or the ordinary cake with some icing? If it is wrapped then you can EMS it but if not you can still do the same but I'm not sure if they will receive the cake the same form when you send it.

If you have any friends or relatives in India ask them to buy fruit cakes from there itself and ask them to deliver it to your Parents - it would rather a Surpise for them.

Sending cakes through cargo companies will take atleast 10-15days, in which your fruit cake will be not even worth to feed a plagued rat....lol (JK)
