Since I'm new in Doha I was wondering what the best way to meet people might be here.I'm not into contacting and accepting invites online.

TCOM...Isnt that how it happens here on QL all the while.... to be a member of a particular QL group, men are supposed to be around for a while, prove themselves and then have to go through the scrutiny (never understood what that means) while women with one post are invited to join the group. Nothing personal, just an observation.
nakobeeze stick around QL,join the groups, involve in the discussions in the forums and as Smoke provided tat link up- we usually organize such event were all new as well as old qlers join and have a great time and as well make friends...

yeah ur rite, you know, first i visited this site i though i might found some nice friendly people from around, but honestly speaking i didnt recieved a good reception here, but it seems to me they are all here for no reason, and thats the best part, but i dont wanna offend any one so if u ask me the reason i would say i am kinda loving this website for some reason..... :-)
my friend i think there is no way to meet new ppl here in doha i have been here for 3 month and i didn`t meet anyone from outside the place i`m working at .....
The previous post by me was for the orginator of this post, suggesting her to join the BBQ at Dukhan, the one initiated in other thread by Smoke, you can do the same, provided you stop spreading the ill will here.
ok all of those who thinks that are offended, i sincerely apologyze if i have done anything, i simply wanted to know people thats all, but anyways u guys have fun i will foind fun somehow the world is not end.
Master UBC, weren't you judging everyone else in the Other thread? Here you are okay with meeting a new member of just one day. And you had major issues with user names and identities.
