KTTDC agent for international driving licence
The Karwa Transport Training Development Centre (KTTDC) of the Mowasalat has become an agent for the international driving licence. Anybody holding a valid Qatari driving licence can now apply for an international driving licence from the KTTDC, according to a company statement. The scope of this KTTDC agency, it said, would be limited to the issuance of the international driving permit by verifying the validity of the driver’s original licence and his passport copy. The license could be obtained only on submission of relevant documents to the Qatar Automobile and Touring Club, which is the sole authority to issue international driving permit in Qatar. The international driving licence is an official translation of a national or domestic driver’s licence and it is in the form of a passport size booklet translated into international languages.
