Hi, I am Paul from Dubai, I have problem with my Visit Visa in Qatar would you please someone help me and give me advise with my situation. Thank you very much. This is the case...
My wife, son and I are presently living in Dubai my company has a new project in Qatar and they want me to assign there they already give me a visit visa, the sponsor written in my visit visa is other company in Doha (my company associate in Qatar) as far as i know my company is still on going on registration and cant sponsor employee for now in Qatar. Assigning to Doha is very difficult for me because I cannot bring my family and applying family visa in Qatar is very expensive and my salary is not qualified. Due to this circumstances I choose my family and I resign to my work. Now I am waiting for the processing of our visa cancellation here in UAE. The blessing now one company in Qatar want to Hire me they send offer letter and the offer is good I can bring my family there. The problem now is that the company want to hire me cant apply visa because I have still active visit visa in Qatar. I have no Idea how to cancel the existing Visa the visa will expire on april which is very long time for them to wait. What I plan is that I will have a trip to Qatar and and exit to other place not in UAE since my UAE visa is already cancel. I have no idea is this is possible. My wife and son for now will go back to our country and waiting for what will happen to me. Please guys help me to this case Please give me some advise...Thank you very much...
I had applied a visa for my boss to come to Qatar through an agent in India. He had applied via online. But after several days it is not getting ready. I called him but not pickingup call. I whatsapp, he told I cannot do anything till he complete its work. He also telling I cannot take a visa for my boss again as he did online. Now I am confused, I paid the agent, meeting fixed on 12th July postponed because of me. Now what shall I do? Can I cancel that online process done by him from India.. please email [email protected]

I have a very similar problem...I need to cancel my Qatar visa so i can get a Saudi visa however...my employer said i have to be in Qatar to cancel my visa and sending my passport only is not allowed. Is there any way around this where I do not have to fly to Qatar just to cancel my visa? i would greatly appreciate ur help.
Hi, good day to every one. I am new here. And I am currently in the Philippines.
Does anyone knows about the business visa? My sponsor applied for my business visa there in Qatar through an agency dated last June 7, 2013. But until now, the visa ain't released. My visa was supposed to be released after 2weeks maximum. Yet, today is August. And the agency and my sponsor haven't received any update about the status of my application.
Do you have any idea about this delay?

just wish to ask, i have cancelled working visa in qatar last october 2012,im now here in dubai,i just want to make a visit this month of august to qatar. will i be allowed to enter qatar with a visit visa? please advise..many thanks.
Hi, I m leaving Qatar by 30th JUNE and my RP going to cancel by 26th June.But my wife is in Visit visa with my sponsorship.Without cancelling my Wife visa, i cannot cancel my RP.If i cancel my Wife visa how long can she stay with that cancellation...If my RP is cancelled i can stay upto 5 days,,,like that if Family Visit visa is cancelled,,how long the person can stay.
I also have a similar problem. I also have an active visit visa in qatar. It was issued last month. The problem is i haven't used the visa and now i am being hired in qatar. My employer cannot process my working visa since i have an existing visit visa. How long does it take for my visit visa to expire.. and if ever can i just send a letter to the embassy to cancel my previous visa? Is there any other way to cancel my visit visa exept for just using it and have an exit? TIA;-)

Yes! qatarisun...my Visa is Type: Business Visit Visa...Your 2 Options advise give me a very clear Idea...Either with this two options is all beneficial...I will ask the company in UAE to give me NOC after I will go to Qatar and show the sponsor in my visit visa to please give me NOC..or still not I will exit and have a trip to Kish Island or Hongkong no need for visa and wait for visa issued by my new employer and come back qatar...In your suggestion means i can use the visa without any problem in Immigration in Qatar Airport? In this case after I got the cancelled visa anytime i can travel to Qatar and report to my new employer...Thanks a lot Qatarisum....your are highly appreciated...
when you say" visit visa", do you mean Business visit visa? If so, you have 2 options:
1. to enter qatar under your business visa and to exit it. Then your new company can apply for your work visa
2. to enter qatar under your business visa and to obtain a NOC letter from your current sponsor. In this case you don't need to exit qatar. Your new company can apply for your work visa, and you can start working with them basically immediately, since you are already in qatar. so if your current sponsor is willing to give you a NOC, this is definitely a better option.
yv2r Thanks for the info.....your second option is supposed to be my plan I will have a trip to Qatar to use the visit visa and after I will exit the same day and the company hired me told me they can get a visa only one day only we need is to cancel the active visit visa...the problem now I cant go back to UAE since my visa is already cancelled instead I will exit from Kish Island (Iran) because no need a visa there most common place where UAE exit points but I have no Idea if there are flight from Qatar going to Kish...or Hongkong maybe instead I will go from my original country it will take a lot of time again processing some required travel documents...you said something "Ïnstead you can pay some fee and convert it to work Visa? what is this means? the company who hired me will provide me Visa is this what you mean I can convert it without exit? I am only afraid it might i cant use the visit Visa and i cant enter Qatar because I am already cancelled here in UAE..is there relation between my UAE visa cancellation and Qatar visit visa....Your advise is highly appreciated...Thank you very much in advance....
if you are getting work visa,your new employer can always apply for your work visa and also as second option if you can afford you can take exit and enter, instead you can pay some fee and convert in to work visa
Hi..Thanks for early reply...Can i use the visa even my company issued that to me already cancelled me? is there's any problem in immigration at the airport if they see that I already cancelled here in UAE? Do you think they will look for others aside from Visit visa I am holding? Thanks for the advice....
Visit visa is valid only for single entry... once you come here and exit..it will automatically get cancelled and the New company can apply for your Work Visa.
