ON AVERAGE HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET RP (RESIDENCE PERMIT)?
I WILL NOT SURVIVE WITHOUT MY HUSBAND!!!! AND WANT TO KNOW HOW SOON WILL HE BE ABLE TO JOIN ME.
I ARRIVE IN DOHA NEXT WEEKEND.

I think you should insist that your DH comes with you.
RP if you are coming on a work visa does not take more than 4 weeks the most or even less..You need to let your employer know that it can't be longer.
Depends, your DH should get a visa on arrival for 1-3 months exchangeable to an RP once yours is fixed. Not sure how..but it is doable ..ask your employer.

Are you sure you are eligible to sponsor your husband? Rp can depend upon the company, but it should be completed within three months of your arrival here.
